Adelaide is renowned for its biennial festival of culture and arts. There are many fine hotels and good restaurants offering an extensive range of multinational cuisines.

Early December is the beginning of summer in South Australia. It is usually very sunny (bring a hat and protective lotion if you plan to walk). Day temperatures range from 25-30 degrees C), but nights are generally quite cool.
